Use only one weapon type. Leveling weapon skill every time you switch weapons is very time consuming and I advise strongly against it. Considering that Death Knights start out with a sword, I recommend sticking to Two-Handed Swords for the remainder of your wow power leveling.

Avoid PVP Dying will slow you down while leveling. If you can avoid it, don’t confront and avoid enemy players. Even if you are well geared, your chances dying at the hands of a player are far greater than dying world mobs and dying just slows you down. Killing players won’t get you any XP either. Follow the Instructions. You cannot skip most Death Knight quests so don’t get clever trying to. We’ve taken a great deal of time to make sure you don’t get stuck at any places, provided you’re following directions

Don’t waste time finding groups. Everything described in this guide can be soloed. Only group with people when it’s convenient. If you find other players at an elite quest mob when you get there, that is convenient. Waiting for a player that’s across the zone to arrive and kill a mob isn’t. Spec for damage and less downtime. Put talent points into talents that will reduce your downtime and increase your damage. For the Death Knight, this means speccing Blood. I recommend a build such as this one or something similar.

Turn on auto-looting. Press ESC, cheap wow gold, Controls and turn on “Auto Loot”. This will save you time when looting bodies.

On another note, if someone offers to run you through an instance, follow their instructions. Seriously. If they tell you to wait somewhere, wait there. If they tell you to follow, follow. If they tell you not to touch things, do not touch things. This goes doubly if the person running you through is a healer. They may not have the dps to burn things down in a second like a rogue or a hunter would. They are there out of the kindness of their heart so you don’t have to wait in LFG; respect that and be courteous.
In short, right now, this isn’t a problem. While in the future, Comcast may try to bring the Guild Wars Gold bandwidth cap lower and lower, at this point, it doesn’t effect enough people out there to worry, and even if you are affected, there are likely steps you can take to get around it, including going with another ISP if that’s an option.

And if you do get suspended out of the blue? Best option is to just use another ISP — even if Comcast isn’t willing to support people who use tons of bandwidth, there will likely be another company that does. And if high-level broadband does become really widespread, it would be a bad business decision for Comcast as well to suspend large numbers of their userbase — while there’s always the WoW Power leveling chance that they could start charging a premium for more bandwidth, smaller companies will likely step up to fill any spaces that Comcast tries to screw over.

I found skill costs from 30-60 cost about 150g, obviously depending on class. Additionally there are costs for a mount (both regular and eventually epic) and new equipment. The “virgin” accounts practically have no reputation with any faction as well.

I tend to think that folks should have the option of starting at level 55 myself, it’s effectively the same thing. However the huge variety of spells and talents available at 55 make this entrance into the game very formidable for any new players.

1-60 in 17 minutes. Is it true? Indeed, I just leveled 4 accounts from 1-60 using multiboxing and the RaF feature. My played time was 3 days 19 hours, by all means pretty poor… Of course I was not wow power leveling by any means (no help of a guild) and I spent some time doing class quests and instances, etc (having fun). I used the 3 RaF accounts to grant three level 30 alts straight to 60. Effectively giving me 7 level 60s for the played time.

Certainly, it can be done much quicker, as Brian didn’t have to run into Stormwind’s trade district or stop to show the talent points panel for the video. At this point, speed leveling records from 1-60 don’t mean anything anymore, anyway. Of course, Brian had to level two characters to 60 on his recruited account to get a total of sixty level grants. With Level 80 fast approaching, I think it’s really cool that new players or characters will have a way to rush towards the endgame. After all, there’s still Levels 61 to 70 — and later 71 to 80 — to slog through. Let me see how many friends I can wrangle up now…

When I first read about Blizzard’s new Recruit-a-Friend program, I thought it was a great way to get friends to catch up quickly. The zhevra mount was just a silly little bonus. The feature that lets players grant a level to a lower-level friend with every two levels had so much potential that it had some players crying out in the forums. Well, WoW Insider reader Brian has actually gone out and done what those players had feared — he leveled a character from 1-60 in less than 20 minutes using the level granting feature.

The honor system rewards the players for participating in PvP combat. By defeating other players and achieving PvP objectives, players earn Honor Points which they can use to purchase a wide array of rewards. There is one of the sources of Honor: Honorable Kills.
You receive Honorable Kills for defeating enemy players in battle, provided they are within an acceptable level range of your character’s level. Each Honorable Kill will net you a reward of Honor Points. The amount of Honor you receive scales similarly to receiving experience from a monster.
The responses you get will be interesting. Some will be ridiculous, like the level 45 rogue claiming to be the best-geared on the server. However, you’ll see how members of various guilds talk about themselves and others, and you’ll get a general feel for a new server. Do you want to be in a guild that openly trashes other WoW Power leveling guilds, or who doesn’t defend itself in trade, or who does defend itself? Do you want one that doesn’t have the best geared (insert your class here) so you can be of a more comparable level or do you want one with the best geared (your class here) so you have less loot competition?
You know what a good idea might be? Calling out other guilds on your server and telling them (as if it’s your business) why they aren’t progressing. That’s exactly the idea that Vadar on Laughing Skull had, and look how great it worked out for him. Even if everything he said is true (and we doubt it), who cares what he thinks anyway? Way to troll. This isn’t guild drama, but it is funny, so we’re putting it here anyway. Mesamo on Cenarion Circle, at the time a 46 Druid, got EQ2 Gold super lucky, stealthed into the middle of the ring during the Stranglethorn Arena event, and by some miracle, actually grabbed the chest for himself. Apparently that made some 70s unhappy though, and they sent him angry tells claiming that he stole the chest from them.
